The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) is Ireland’s oldest and most well-known children’s charity. The ISPCC has a long, proud history of service delivery and advocacy on behalf of children.
- The ISPCC is the only organisation in Ireland providing unique 24 hour support services for children and young people through our Childline service.
- Childline seeks to empower and support children using the medium of telecommunications and information technology.
- Childline receives over 2,300 calls a day through a 24 hour listening service for all children up to the age of 18.
- Childline receives just 10% Government funding which means that 90% of its costs have to be raised through the generosity of individual donors and corporate supporters.
