Duisburger Ruderverein Duisburg-Wedau

Itinerary

There are four different challenging and interesting routes developed your in the southern Ruhr area. We will start from the regatta course in Duisburg-Wedau. The tracks follow the river Ruhr and along the Baldeneysee. From here we head towards the hills of the Elfringhauser Schweiz. Where track 1 is returning with only few hills back to Duisburg, the other tracks lead to a much more hilly region with some awesome climbs and views. There is even a track especially for gravel cyclists with some dedicated kilometers on a gravelled old railway track, used nowadays for cycling.

Track Route Distance Climb
Track 1 Duisburg - Langenberg - Duisburg 86 km 840 meters
Track 2 Duisburg - Sprockhövel - Langenberg - Duisburg 128 km 1200 meters
Track 2 (Gravel) Duisburg - Sprockhövel - Glückauftrasse (Gravel) - Langenberg - Duisburg 122 km 1090 meters
Track 3 Duisburg - Sprockhövel - Ennepetal - Langenberg - Duisburg 174 km 1930 meters

Participation fee

The participation fee of 10 € will be paid onsite at tour start.
Please send an e-mail to support@gbi-event.org if you want to participate. That helps us to better plan everything in advance.
