My name is Ziad Ammar and I’ve been coaching mixed functional fitness professionally for almost a decade. I’m also one of the Egyptian GBI veterans and have been on the GBI tours through the period from 2009 to 2014!
I’m sure that a lot of old timers may recognize me and I have so many stories to tell you about my incredible and lovely experience with GBI!
But today I’m here for another story...
As you know, humankind since the beginning of time has continuously been experimenting, discovering and blowing up old misconceptions by learning more and more, and sports science is not far from that. A lot of people throughout the years have always believed that “strength” training is of no value to “endurance” athletes, and that it’s an unnecessary risk with almost no added value to their overall program. Nevertheless, strength training when utilized properly can be of tremendous value and addition to any endurance athlete, including long distance cyclers.
When the athlete’s strength is developed on a specially prepared program, built on his current capabilities, focusing on functional compound movements and using precise weight resistance percentages, this athlete will start seeing improvement in a matter of weeks; such improvement can, and will, continue improving from one month to the other as long as the suitable program continues adapting to this athlete improvement.
I have gotten the chance over the past 10 years to work with numerous athletes from all sports, including functional fitness, triathlon, football, handball, basketball, contact sports, you name it, and they were extremely satisfied with my programming. Such athletes varied from competitors to weekend warriors, moms, dads, teens, elders, kids; everyone can benefit one way or another from a personalized program that is tailored to fit their needs and planned to reach their goals.
So don’t let this chance get away from you! Contact me, let’s set up a call and talk about where you currently are and where you would want to be, and let’s see how I can help you reach your goals!
Cheers!
