This is a pure female team, supported by liv - the female brand of Giant. We will enjoy the beautiful landscape, take care of each other, stop two to three times during the day for a coffee and lunch break and keep flexibility in how we organize the day so that it will be a unique experience for each of us! We will cycle track 1 at a relaxed pace so that everyone can keep up. See you in Bologna - let's rock the Alps!

TEAM Australia
Ahmed Morsi
Track 1 (25 km/h)
Languages: English, Arabic
For the last couple of years, I have been the only participant from Australia; hopefully more luck in 2024!
I love riding with friends, old and new from the impressive variety of countries and cultures that GBI has to offer. We look after each other, no-drop rides, easy enough to enjoy the ride, and fast enough to gain the bragging rights! We may choose to do Track 2 if the route is cool and the legs are strong. Stops as we see fit on the day depending on the route. We will stop as long as we are enjoying our food, coffee or simply having fun, however we will aim to be at the camp at a reasonable time to enjoy the destination city. To join us you must bring along your best sense of humour!
Note for the techies: Avg. Speed of 25 km/h could mean rolling speed up to 35 km/h on the flat.

We like tourism, food and beer, so we will take breaks when necessary, to enjoy the towns, landscapes, have breakfast, have a beer or whatever. Of course, a good lunch is mandatory!!!!
We will ride at an average of 20 – 30 km/hour, but always waiting and adapting our speed to the slowest and we usually decide the day before which track we will do the next day. Depending on whether there are nice things, we will choose track 2 or track 1.

Start late - arrive in time !
The fun of cycling in a team is the most important. One day we will may be fast, the other we will be more impressed by the landscape and good restaurants. For every tour day we agree, who is going to do track 1 or track 2 and we will split in 2 smaller Joint-Cyclers teams per day. Propbably there will be a preferences for track 2. Average speed can be between 20 - 30 km/h, depends on the daily condition :-). In the evening we offer to relax together, celebrating the highlights of the day, but will also look forward to the challenges of the next day.
Motto: Enjoy joint cycling for fun !

I live in Berlin and have traveled with GBI Europe 12 times so far. Our team travels at an average speed of 24 km/h and takes enough breaks to enjoy an espresso. After 2/3 of the day's stage there is a lunch break of 45-60 minutes. Even on long and strenuous stages, we look after each other as a team and reach the finish line together. Before the tour, a WhatsApp group will be set up with details about the meeting point and start. I'm looking forward to a tour with wonderful people, beautiful landscapes with impressive views and wonderfully strenuous bike rides.
